The PSYPACT interstate telepsychology compact enables you to seek mental health services outside of your state. In other words, you don’t have to live in Illinois to see me.
PSYPACT assures the legal and ethical practice of telepsychology (or telehealth) across state lines. Providers don’t need to get licensed in each state. Instead, they must seek and be granted the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology, or APIT, by the PSYPACT Commission. I received my APIT in 2020.
